Another weekend, another few hours in front of the computer. This week I’ve been ironing out some bits and pieces of design on the website, buying supplies (memory cards) and researching which insurance company to use. The most exciting thing that happened this week though was the delivery of my new business cards.

My husband, Graham, did all the tricky design work on Moo.com, I just had to pay for them! It’s good having a designer in the house, he helps with all those photoshop nightmares and gives me another perspective. Just three months ago my logo and branding was entirely different from what it is now, and I have my husband to thank for creating my vision in black and white (and pink). Here’s a quick snap of the evolution of my business card!

I still love that old design, but it just didn’t deliver the brand I wished to convey, moving from being a general photographer to concentrating on weddings was a difficult decision, but since I did I’ve had a massive creative boost and a real injection of passion!
It’s my birthday next week and I am going on holiday for a few days, then when I return, I will have an amazing wedding to shoot at Ribby Hall, Exciting times ahead!
